Trinity-Sergiev Lavra (former ZAGORSK) (70 km) is the residence of the Patriarch of All Russia, a working monastery, it is the religious center of Russian Orthodox Church with the Theological Academy. The museum has a rich collection of icons of the 15-17th centuries. Trinity Cathedral and Dukhovskaya Church, the 5-domed Assumption Cathedral, the palace of the czar "Chertogi" (8h.). Pereyaslavl-Zalessky (125 km).
